Must-Have Accessories for Your DJI Mini Drone

Propeller guards, cases, landing gear, sunhoods and more: the accessories that protect your DJI Mini and make every flight easier.

You just got a DJI Mini. It flies beautifully, it fits in your hand, and it cost real money. The right accessories keep it safe, make it easier to carry, and help you get better footage. Here are the ones we recommend for the Mini 2 / 2SE / 4K, Mini 3 / 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Mini 5 Pro.

1. Propeller Guards

The single most useful accessory for new pilots. Guards stop the propellers from hitting trees, walls and people, and they save you from bent props after a light bump. Use them for your first flights, indoors, or close to obstacles.

Tip: guards add a little weight and catch more wind. Fly them on calm days and expect slightly shorter flight time.

2. A Proper Carry Case

Most damage happens in the bag, not in the air. A shaped case holds the drone, controller and batteries in place so the gimbal and arms don't get knocked around. Pick a drone + controller case if you carry everything together, or a compact one if you travel light.

3. Landing Gear

Landing gear lifts the drone a few centimetres off the ground. That keeps sand, dust and wet grass away from the camera and motors, and makes taking off from beaches, rocks or uneven mountain ground much safer.

4. Gimbal and Camera Protection

The gimbal is the most fragile (and most expensive) part of your Mini. A gimbal cover or camera protector clips on during transport and comes off in seconds before you fly. Never take off with it on.

5. Propeller Clips

Small but important. Clips hold the folded propellers together so they don't bend or crack in your bag, and they make packing faster.

6. Controller Sunhood

In the Lebanese sun, your controller screen can be almost impossible to read. A sunhood for the DJI RC 2 or RC-N1 blocks the glare so you can actually see your shot and your battery level.

7. Battery Accessories

8. AirTag / Smart Tag Mount
